Concordia Pet Care’s Canine and Feline Specialist services are led by our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Elaine Ng Yuen Ling, who is among the few veterinarians in Hong Kong holding dual board certifications in both canine and feline specialties, as well as internationally recognised qualifications in surgery and acupuncture.
Dr. Elaine graduated from the University of Cambridge, earning both a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine and a Master’s degree in Philosophy. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in both Canine and Feline Practice, a Member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (Small Animal Surgery), and also holds an Advanced Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Surgery from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, as well as being a certified veterinary acupuncturist.
With extensive clinical experience, Dr. Elaine’s expertise covers both internal medicine and surgery for cats and dogs, orthopaedics, a wide range of soft tissue and joint surgeries, as well as oncology, endocrinology, chronic diseases, and advanced diagnostics (including endoscopy and CT scanning). She believes in a holistic approach to veterinary care—considering all aspects of each patient—to provide pet owners with the most appropriate treatment recommendations and medical options.
